Subject: Ford F150 axle ratio's

We are looking at purchasing a 2010 F150 4X4 with the 5.4 gas motor. I see the standard rear end is a 3.31 ratio with 18" tires. One pickup we are considering has 20" tires and the 3.31 ratio. We would do very little towing with this vehicle, mostly as a car (6'5" with knee and back trouble, hard to crawl into car). Are the taller tires and 3.31 ratio something to be concerned about? Thanks for the replies.

We drove a Ford today.... quite impressed with it. Hope to drive a Dodge and a Nisson tomorrow... ex-SIL had Chevy underwear, kind of hard to even look at a chevy
