I have chain floor trailers and have just purchased an end dump. Can I use my existing hydraulics to lift my end dump? Thanks. Dave

In a word maybe, but not as it sits. You need to run a max of 1800-2000 psi for the end dump where your two line system probably does much more than that. There are ways to do it, but you will have to talk to a wet kit dealer and see if yours can be converted.

Get you an auxiliary dump valve. it will have its own relief in it for a dump, I have a setup like that on a trk that yanks a silage trailer in the early fall and a dump other times of year. Only thing i might add is if your existing pump is less than 35 gpm, it will be slow on the dump. Half of end dump success is getting it in the air quickly so it doesn't have time to think about tipping over

I don't have any experience with a two line wet kit, but I think they are setup to run a hydraulic motor ( such as a pump or your floor chain), and the oil is constantly recirculating. It doesn't take as much oil in the reservoir for this type of setup. For an end dump with a single line the oil is pushing the cylinder up and it takes a lot of oil to fill those cylinders. The truck we use on our end dump has probably a 30-40 gallon reservoir. You might take a look at yours and make sure it has enough oil capacity.

All my trucks have wet kits as well, need to be aware of needed flow, pressure, and volume, as well as one line or two line. All are two line and 50 gallon tanks

Yes, as long as your reservoir is big enough.

Put a valve on the front of the end dump trailer.
