iowa | I was getting some bids to add some more grain storage. However, for the third year in a row the dry and wet corn that I hauled to the elevator in the fall made more money than what I stored on the farm. I always aggressively marketed the estimated production that went to town using the coops future sales, calls, and aggregator plans. It seems I am just way to content to let the farm stored corn and beans sit until I have time to haul it to processors in the summer. The coop marketer meetings are geared to grain in the elevator. I guess being a tight ass is hurting my farm sales.
