Subject: Grid sampling, coop error

Southern Mn
I’ll start by saying I’m irritated, but I’ll ask for more opinions before I’m mad. A local private elevator does a lot of grid sampling after guys plant beans, June time frame. Get them a head start in the fall when beans get combined for limeing. No waiting for results. I thought I liked that idea, talked to my coop who does my work, said it was doable, no big deal. Friday I get a email saying it was nice out so they went out and grid sampled the field. I’m not real happy they did it. But will it hurt anything? Biggest reason for grid sampling is for liming but use it for fertility also. Have typically applied lime after beans in the fall, sampling after beans are cut. I have no interest in spring lime. How will this early sampling affect me??Any thoughts? Hopefully I’ve articulated properly what I’m asking.
