Subject: How to raise good pork?

Townsend, Montana
I am tired of eating dry, tough pork. We have some pig feeders and an old New Holland grain grinder. We are going to get some weaner pigs in a few months. Hopefully Berkshire/something cross.

I have corn, wheat, barley, peas, alfalfa, and orchard grass readily available. Different screens for the grinder to make whatever work.

I don't know much of anything about raising hogs.

What do I need to raise some fatty, juicy, tender, well marbled pork? What kind of ration? Free choice feed? Limited feed? Butcher at 200 pounds? 300? 400?

Any specific minerals or supplements?

Any tips and tricks?
