| In the area where i'm located the vertical beater spreader has become a must since about 4-5 years now. I know 2 guys that owns 2 both and do custom work with them, in our case we use it only for our operation. These years in québec we see a lot of those spreaders coming from europe: Samson , tebbe, bergmann, gentil, and I should miss some others, and all are vertical. The vertical ones do a better job in chopping the long straw in cow manure.
For the samson, in québec about all the john deere dealers can sell them about 2 years ago, now I think only 5-6 dealers have the agency or you can buy it directly from the importer. He has a great service and a lot of pieces, we had it for 2 years now and no problems.
