King City, Mo | Today we went to the cancer center to get the pathology reports from the double mastectomy last week.
NO CANCER WAS FOUND!!!
My wife had a complete response to the chemo!
No more chemo.
Her road map:
Every 3 weeks immuno thepary that is specific to HER2+ breast cancer for a year total. She’s already had some while she had taxiol chemo.
Histromectory surgery still as she has the gene that puts her at risk for ovarian cancer and her cancer was slightly hormone driven.
Prob radiation for 6 weeks but not thrilled about that...as they said originally due to her age and size it’s recommend but we’ll see what the radiation dr says when we see her again.
Then in 2020 sometime the expanders out and implants in.
Her cancer Dr said this doesnt happen very often so we are thankful for all the people everywhere who prayed for her.
She will be off work for 5-7 more weeks.
So thank you all who were praying for her. We really appreciate.
