Finally got the chance to put some former farm land back into production this fall. A lot of acres were lost to flooding over the past decade but this dry summer has allowed us to reclaim some of it. Lots of burning, disking and harrowing going on around here now that harvest is pretty much done. It was a quiet enough day to safely burn the bulrushes (cat tails).
