We're getting dry (despite the green) and I am rotating the groups through any grass I have, including running a hot wire near my house. I was just out watering my garden this evening when part of the heifer group grazed their way over towards me. I snapped a pic as they were grazing near my tracker. Seemed to me like an interesting combination of higher tech solar and lower tech rotational grazing. As Carlson mentioned earlier, it is amazingly calming being out with a group of cows and calves quietly grazing at sunset. Also took a pic of one of my Schu-Lar yearling bulls. This guy seems to be getting his job done.
