ottertail co mn | I think I have one mad ex brother in law and 2 crabby kids. We fenced about a mile and a half of new fence this weekend from scratch. It is going to be nice to have 40 acres of new pasture. It is all native grass mixed with some native legumes. If I were to bale it I would get around 4 bales an acre. I will have some really happy cows come Tuesday when all the gates and misc items are wrapped up.
We installed 40 railroad ties and approximately 300 t posts. I bought a redi driver last summer for the t posts, it took about 2 hours to do all 300. I did 2 to show the kids how it worked and then sent them on their merry way.
Nice to get some stuff done once in a while.
