Oklahoma | So I have an old Samsung Galaxy S3 cell phone. Today while working on some equipment it slipped out of my hand and the screen hit a bolt head juuuust right and cracked the screen. Arrghh. Anyway, the plan is to use it as is for now until I can find a replacement. It still works and everything, just the top of the screen is shattered and theres a crack running all the way top to bottom.
When its time to buy a replacement, I want a tough smart phone that can handle being dropped a little. I try to be careful with my phone but accidents happen, and I want something that can take a bit of abuse. I dont need the latest and greatest, but a decent camera would be nice. Also replaceable battery, with decent battery life. I have heard people talk about the Kyocera Duraforce. Or the Duraforce Pro? Is it a good phone? Are there any other you would recommend? Trying to keep it fairly cheap here too...I would like to keep it under $300 for sure. What can I expect for that price range? I guess there is always the used option but that may be hit or miss.
