Pennyrile, West Ky. | We had a very hard straight line wind a couple weeks ago and it ripped all the vinyl ceiling out of the porch.... I'm considering going back with 6" tounge and groove wood boards, the carpenter has a concern that it might shrink and separate or even expand and buckle with changes in humidity.. anyone have experience with a tounge and groove wood ceiling on a porch or any other outside project.
Material will be untreated pine... thanks.. John
I forgot to add it will be nailed on 16 inch centers..
