Subject: Comments on experimental drugs

West Texas

I had an older brother fall on a piece of broken mirror back in 1941. Mom took him to the hospital where he died just a few days later. Mom was talking to the Dr in 1948 and he told her that if they had penicillin back then the boy would still be alive. As we look at the drugs we have on the market today and the obvious increase in our longevity, it is only a matter of time until most all diseases will be controlled.

In the meantime, as this country allows corporations to donate to our legislators, the prices we pay for lifesaving medicine will always be sky-high.
