2001 9650 sts. Discharge beater light goes off intermittently. Separator will shut down itself without flipping the switch. everything mechanical seems to be fine. I can start the separator up, bring it to full rpm, and then it will shut down after 10-15 seconds usually. Sometimes a little long. The idiot light for the discharge beater will come on, regardless of whether the head switch is turned on. Sometimes the beater light will not come one, but if I flip all of the field lights on it will come on immediately. Any suggestions? Last year we had to run a heavier wire into the circuit board for the field lights, because the factory one was not holding up.
Of course, John Deere service isn't open tomorrow on a Sunday. | |
