Zabcikville, TX | Be proud of your dirty hands. Be proud of your kind heart. Be proud of your patience. Just BE PROUD. As many of you know, my wife nearly died a couple weeks ago. I remember (during the chaos) saying "I wish I could help, but I'm just a farmer". I even told the nurses in ICU the same thing. One of them turned to me and said " you're not "just" anything, we all have to eat." I couldn't help my wife, but they could. I can grow food, it's what I/we do. To quote my grandmother "when agriculture fails, everything fails". So, stand up, and be proud!! I surely am!!
