Subject: Any IH Cab Over experts on here?

Manitoba
We have an 84 9670 CO that I'm having electrical issues with. My turn signals were dead this year when I went to get it ready for harvest. I don't have any schematics on this thing so I'm just guessing blindly when trying to trouble shoot but problem is in the tractor. hooking up 7 pin cable pins up directly to battery has all functions on trailer working normally. I do know what pins control what functions. If I attempt to hotwire 12 volt to a non powered good fuse behind dash panel (red arrow in pic shows fuse I ran power to) I have the signals working perfectly on their own BUT when it is hooked up this way when I hit the brakes the brake lights (which are working normally when fuse is not hotwired) work fine but also my turn signals light up. when just using the turn signals this way the brakes don't light up.

does anyone have any ideas I could try, or a schematic of the cab wiring. this truck has had some creative wiring in the past as many of them probably do. I would be fine with just hotwiring something to get it to work but I'm stumped on the both brakes and signals when braking but only signals when signaling thing. if it was just a short or wires contacting it should go both ways.

any help would be very much appreciated. thanks
