Subject: USDA - New Farmer Assistance for War Veterans

Is there anyone out there that is familiar with this program? Looking for any feed back.

Was it good for you or the person you know that used it? Worth it? Was it any help to the person or just another chance for the gov to kill more trees? Anything you would do different?

Personally I fall under the New Farmer and Veteran requirement, I am currently working on getting into farming and am waiting for a call back from my local office on this program.
In my area, 75% of people who would qualify for this were raised on a farm and if it is a worth while program I would like to help other new farmer vets with it.
