USA | Flip flopping by Dupont on chem labels is enough to ask. Does Dupont have a clue about reality? On second thought maybe they do when it comes to massaging chem labels to help in trying to get in their customer's back pocket in a bigger way.
Resolve DF label http://www.cdms.net/ldat/ld6UC003.pdf
Can apply up to 12 inch 6 collar corn.
Resolve SG label http://www.cdms.net/ldat/ld0JU006.pdf
Dupont label for Resolve SG states is to be applied before corn emergence. Resolve SG is same chemical as Resolve DF
Instigate label http://www.cdms.net/ldat/ldAQ3002.pdf
Instigate contains Resolve DF or SG or whatever Dupont chooses to call it mixed with Callisto. Now Dupont has decided to label it for two collar max size corn as well as state that Callisto as a stand alone product cant be used, after an application of Instigate.. But gives the green light to using Realm Q which contains Callisto after Instigate.
Callisto label http://www.cdms.net/ldat/ld56N008.pdf
Callisto label has 3 oz restriction on max amount @ one time on post corn. Dupont label puts the max restriction on Callisto @ about 4.5 oz post as well as permitting MSO to be used. Callisto label has a precaution on using MSO as it may cause crop injury.
Link is for a study done by Pioneer on SU chemistry and the safety of them on corn in the safe and non safened form. Conclusion in the end is that safen SU products are of little benefit to the majority of corn hybrids. At least they were honest when asked the question about using Gen unsafened SU products on corn. Response was majority of corn hybrids wouldn't have a negative effect using unsafen SU chemistry and only a small percent of corn hybrids would be affected in a negative manner.
