Subject: Tire chains on a skid steer

Used my skid steer to plow major snow yesterday for the first time since we bought it. A bit disappointed in how much I couldn't move due to spinning out. I'm used to using a tractor/loader with chains and when I wanted it to move snow, it MOVED snow. Realize skid steer doesn't have the weight but still expected it to do more than it did. My question is does anyone run chains on their skid steer and if so do you run them on all 4 wheels or only 2. If only 2, which ones, front or rear? Any recommendations on where to get them? Or should I just forget the whole idea and use tractor when we get heavy snow and save skid for lite snows?
Thanks.
