| I'm just getting started farming and want in the worst way to understand corn and bean plants to become a better grower. I don't want to rely soley on what other people say, i'd like to have a strong knowledge of the crops myself. I do know certain things about the crops but i would like to learn more. What would be the best way to learn corn/beans inside and out. I always get intrigued after watching Gregg Sauder's precision planting video on how he goes through a growing season.
I know the best way to learn is to run trials and record data, but the other thing too is, is that there are never two seasons alike.
Lately driving around seeing a few of my fields makes me wonder that if I would have done something different that I may have helped, or hurt myself.
Just thought i'd ask and see what everyone says.
