Subject: Soybean damage from thread below


One thing I forgot to mention in my thread below was that there was wheat flown on in early Oct as a cover crop attempt. I did not consider it a big success or a threat as it was not very tall or thick when I burned it down this spring. Could this have attracted the pests and then the different harvest timing have concentrated the pests in the one variety? Also the beans were Cruiser Maxx treated. Would planting the beans between the rows with a corn planter with row cleaners have changed the outcome? It seemed to start right on the rows of old corn residue.
