| Just curious if anyone had tried, and been happy with, using rain water for spraying. My understanding is that you would add AMS just like with well water. The big advantage for me is that it would be a bunch of water at home and not having to go to the local co-op to fill up. Thought about getting a couple 5000 gallon tanks and connecting them, to a gutter from a 7500 square foot building. I figured put an electric pump on there and not have to dig a new well at the house to feed the sprayer. (assuming we don't have a drought). It sounds like algae and some organisms can cause problems, but if the tanks get no sunlight and remain agitated through the summer, would that solve the algae problem? | |
