Actual Conversation with another seed dealer today. ... "yeah, I agree corn is way too high priced at $300/bag, you can't make any money at that price." I then stated Conventional Corn was half that price. "ya, but I wouldn't want to take the risk of corn borer and all the ears falling on the ground"........I said, well it's been yielding as good or better than traited corn locally... "ya I agree, it does have more yield potential, but you only have so many crop seasons in your life, you don't want to risk it, unless you are going to scout for corn borer.".......

Just thought it was an interesting conversation. My thoughts, If you need the traits, USE THEM. If not, don't waste the money, and maybe get out there and scout for a couple hours a week.
