Subject: Top up stir bin as it dries yes or no

Ripley, Ontario Canada
I am drying some 33.5% corn in a stir bin with low heat (20 degree f temp rise over ambient air) Naturally 33.5 corn shrinks; a lot actually, down about 2/3 of a ring (narrow ring old westeel bin 32 inch rings)

Will I put more bushels through faster if I refill the bin as it shrinks. Ie now the bin is down to about 27% and has dropped 2 feet. If I put 2 feet of wet corn on top and let it mix in it obviously won't be dry as soon as if I just let the corn that is in there finish, empty and refill, but will I dry more bushels per day over time by refilling?

For those that hate stir bins, I am getting a long great even with 33% corn, I only get about 8 feet deep if I fill as full as the stirer will handle and that is with corn piled right up to the carriages.
