I once complained about having to run out before breakfast to plug the tractor in. The oldest said: "why cant you use a timer?"
I once complained about having to fill feed buckets every few days for them to use while I'm gone. Middle girl said: "why don't you get more buckets?"
Today they asked: "why it is that all of our equipment is different colors and has numbers written on the sides?" I explained about auctions.
Then when I told them the mixer wouldn't hold another bale of straw and more silage, they said: "how do you know?" Ugghh - I was right.
But even with the foul up, the day was still a good one - the tire hauler that threw used tires on my silage plastic threw on a new 10:00-16 tractor front tire!
