Northern Illinois | I have an 8520T with ~ 4500 hours that I am considering trading for a row crop tractor. I do not need to go to a new or less houred machine. Of course when I purchased the tracked tractor the saleman explained that the trackes made the tractor more valueable. Now the salesman (different salesman at different dealership) is saying that a row crop tractor of this size is more valueable. So which is it? How should the value of tracks be factored in on simular tractors.
8520T vs 8420 with fewer hours?

nothing wrong with the 8520T. It was through the JD shop last winter and anything that needed addressed was fixed. Just considering moving to less tillage and thus would not need a pulling tractor but want something with more flexibility. | |
