I am very far from a Church Guy, but here's my Christmas Prayer. In my mind there's nothing wrong with considering an Original Infinity. Your mileage may vary. Here goes:

O God we need a celebration this time of year! Our days are shades of gray and brown, and the nights are long and cold! And so we have created this festival of lights to dazzle our eyes and push back the darkness; we gather with our friends and family to share a meal and cheer our hearts.

And once again we retell the old fables; as an example to teach us about sharing the best of ourselves with those who have less, and as a sign of hope- for the glorious rebirth that will come in the Spring.

(I leave out Jesus on purpose. If he's really in there, he already knows it and he doesn't need my help- or yours.)
