Subject: Radishes planted behind soybeans [pictures]

East Central Arkansas

These radishes were planted Sep 29 with a JD vacum planter with milo plates. They are at least twice as thick as they should be. The setting I used on the planter was to drop about 4 seeds a foot of milo but it's closer to 12 radish seed per foot. If I get to plant some more this Fall I will cut back to the 2 seed per foot setting. The triticale is planted with the planter set for the highest rate with milo plates.
