Subject: Upgrade from Phoenix 200 to 300?

Mitchell, SD
I have recently purchased used Case 4420 sprayer from another state. It has all Raven components. Viper Pro, Smartrax autosteer, etc. It did have slingshot in it for RTK signal in an area with a tower network. I found out today that its now only capable of WAAS signal with the Phoenix 200 antenna. We have maybe 20% of our acres that would lie within a 30 mile radius of a tower. Otherwise the remaining acres would be from 1 to 20 miles beyond that. Would like to have better accuracy for repeatability and plan on installing Harrison Smart Nozzle system so I don't want GPS drift for that. I've been told it will cost $5500 to upgrade to Phoenix 300 in order to be able to get an omni subscription. Not sure if or when another tower will be available in the future. What would you recommend? Also, do I have a quick start option on the 300 like Trimble has? Thanks.
