I have spreadsheets dating back to 1985 and possibly before some with .ssf and some with .wq1. Microsoft 2003 will translate the .wq1 spreadsheets but not the .ssf sheets, Office 2007 will not touch them. The .ssf spreadsheets were from a product called Enable which had spreadsheets, wordprocessor, and database. I still have a laptop with office 2003 on it.
