"I finished mounting a GS 2600 in my sprayer today. I am using it with an ITC for a light bar, so I mounted it front and center. Apparently I mounted it exactly perpendicular to my line of sight, so I have terrible glare off the screen. Because of the way I made the bracket, there is no easy way to change the mounting angle. Is there anything I can do to cut down on glare other than remaking the bracket to change the angle? Any type of film/anti glare screen that I can use and still have the touch screen work?"
It is the reflection that is causing the problem, not light from the screen.
I messed with it some today to see if changing the angle would help. If I tilt the screen away from me, the screen is darker, well defined and no reflection. If I tilt it towards me, it still has a reflection and it washed out. It looks like there is some kind of polarizing filter on it. Is there any kind of filter that would cut the glare/reflection looking straight on, but still allow the touch screen to work? | |
