Hanby Mill, AL | Third year to farm so I’m still on a steep learning curve. I’d like to upgrade to a 12 row planter with section control, down pressure, and liquid starter. Just added auto steer to our 8120 using SF6000 and 4640 monitor so need a planter that will work well with this system - I’m guessing this means green as I’m not sure how other colors will work with JD GPS?
Currently have a 6/11 3000 Kinze with no upgrades. Not looking for split row as I’d rather spend money on upgrades. We plant no-till. I’ve looked on line at some 1770nt but really not sure what best options are.
I plant about 300 acres of corn each year. Local Case dealer handles Kinze and offers better service vs Deere in my area.
