Subject: Activities people do Northern vs Southern

East Central Arkansas

Olive Troads post below about having a plow day got me thinking about some of the thing that people might do in on area of the country and not another. I don't think I had ever heard of a plow day before seeing it on Ag Talk. We do have folks around that have old restored equipment but all you might see is a piece in a parade somewhere. Hunting and fishing and folks going to sports events seem to be the activities around here. I do a little deer hunting but not into the trophy thing. I try to kill a couple every year for meat in the freezer and maybe do my part to help thin them out some. I really don't care about watching football, basketball or baseball. I do raise a large garden which I guess is my activity but it also puts a good supply of fresh vegetables on the table and in storage.
