WCIN | doesn't have resources to do this with their own equipment. If the mine was closed in 1923, did they really have the ability to chemically separate the gold
out? I think not.
Someone/company had permission, years ago, to pump their leachate in that mine from a chemical process.
I'm wanting to hope that the EPA found a seep or infraction that needed to be addressed, and the contractor handling this didn't sample things correctly.
I maybe totally wrong, but someone pumped that in the river, at least, at the wrong rate. | |
