Beaver Dam, WI | Innerseeding some cereal rye, red clover, turnips, and a little tillage radishes into corn. Corn got a little to tall wish I would have been in like 10 days earlier. But of course had some things come up. I did try some today on a hay field planted to corn that got planted later. The clover is coming already and it's only been a 6 days I think. A little frustrated as I can find tillage radish seeds that haven't done anything we had around half inch of rain since spreading. I saw the grain drill mounted on a field cultivator. ...... I really like that idea it gets the seed in the ground. The innerseeding took place in notil soybean stubble. My corn on corn I had a hard time sidedress ing with a Coulter knife set up. Does anyone notil corn on corn and ever try doing a little cultivating???? I wonder if it works.
