NW Missouri | I mowed down some marestail in a field that was getting out of control. The field is going to a cover crop. Where is the growing point on marestail? Will it take off now and be angry? I'm planning to go back to this field and do a burn down with 24d, powermax, etc.. How long should I wait before going back in to burn down? I decided to bush hog the field as it was getting too thick to get good spray penetration. Will the reduced size of the marestail be easier to kill since it won't have as many leaves, etc? | |
