Finally dried up enough to START planting beans ( over 25" in last 55 days).  Planted and sprayed around 250 acres last night and this morning.  Started combining wheat this afternoon.  About 7 this evening get a call from my helper that he had buried the 40 ft air drill and 4x4 tractor.  AND THEN THE STORM HIT.  A little cloud to the west suddenly dumped over 2" in less than 45 minutes with lots of 1/2- 3/4" hail..

Getting hard to continue to be optomistic about this year. :-(
