| A while back I had asked about replacement motors for my Deutz Ultima (same as Simplicity Sunstar). The local "good ol boy" mower mechanic said that the 33hp Generac replacement motor would be the way to go for that tractor, especially with the 60" deck. I can also get a replacement Kohler Command to go in place of the original Kohler Magnum. The Command and Generac would both require the same amount of "engineering" to get them installed.
Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the Generac v-twin motors. I know they came on some generators and on some Dixie Chopper mowers. For the price I can get 10-13 more hp with the Generac over the Kohler. Thanks in advance for the input! | |
