Subject: planting soybeans into cereal rye

S IL
Next spring will do this for the first time. I plan on planting into green/growing cereal rye then spray. Is there an optimum height to plant into if I have the option? Should I wait until it's head high, or plant sooner from your experiences? I realize if it's a dry spring the rye can remove needed moisture, but assume good conditions. Don't want to risk hurting yield
