Subject: Turbo Actuators,

Eastern Iowa
A post below got me thinking about a problem I have with my 9770 combine, when I first start it the turbo actuator code comes up and it is low on power. If I run it long enough to warm up , then shut the engine off and start it back up it will work until I shut it off for the day. I know this is a common problem but is there a better way to fix it than just put the same crappy parts back on it? I've researched turbo actuators and found various types and styles but nothing marketed as a replacement for my combine or engine model. Is there a better way to repair or replace these things? I'll be disassembling this one looking for problems before I spend 4 grand for a new one from Deere. What goes wrong with them. The turbo on my 4430 hasn't been touched in almost 40 years.
