Subject: Lights to view spray nozzles, at night

Between Omaha and Des Moines, 7 miles South of I80

Yes, I've seen those fancy LED things to light each nozzle.

I'm more interested in what some have done, before those arrived. Has anyone mounted a spot beam, at nozzle level, about 3-6 feet forward of boom and "shot" the light beam out the length of the boom? If so, How did it work?

Any other ideas?

Worried about missing a plugged or failed tip, when I finish up in the evening/night; IF I can't see the spray pattern good enough. (I think all my lights, maybe mounted too high)

Thanks

Edit: Only using a 65 foot boom
