Subject: Tillage Radish after Sweet Corn

MN
We are planning on having some sweet corn this year (40 acres irrigated). The sweet corn should be harvested mid-late July. I have been doing a lot of research on tillage radish as a cover crop for the remainder of the year. I would not be planting these to loosen the ground, as this is on very light sandy soil and is very loose already. One issue we have is our ph is low (5) and have spread lime 2 years straight since we installed the center pivot to get the soil built up for maximum yields. Would this benefit our ph? Are there any other benefits to planting these? What would you recommend? TIA
