Subject: New to gps and need suggestions

Central tx
I dont know anything about auto steer. the only thing I currently have is a 250 monitor that we have only used to spray and spread fertilizer with the light bar. I am trying out a 6500 sprayer and am having trouble finding my rows (cant make out tracks, or count 24 rows without running over a lot of corn on the turn rows in the process) since it was not planted with autosteer. With that being said I am looking into autosteer for next year planting. I would like to try it out in the fall for tillage to get used to and to check out the accuracy. And of course, I would like to keep it as reasonable as possible. I would like yalls advice on the following.

a. systems that would fit my needs. (and what all I would need in that setup) ie outback, trimble etc.
b. good or bad experiences
c. approximate cost of system you are describing.

I would run it on an 8950 and/or 7240 case ih

thanks
