Subject: Ridge till, pull type 16 row planter

Eastern Ontario
We're looking to move up to a 16 row planter. We're on 30" ridges. We currently run two 8 row 3 pt planters with lift assist wheels. We don't have any trouble keeping them on the ridge. But I'm not sure how a 16 row pull type planter will be on the ridges. We like the design of the 16 row Great Plains YP1625A. I wonder if the two 46" wheels are enough to keep it on the rows. Do you think we would need some sort of tracking like the Orthman shadow trackers?
