Subject: Trouble calibrating radar--MX 245 with FMX, 1790 on GS2

Portland, ND
I am having trouble getting the planter at a glance to work on my GS 2600. I am using a trimble FM-1000 for AS, and we are feeding the GPS signal to the GS2 screen for mapping/paint and swath control(this is working). I am trying to use the brown box simulator in the GS2. We have the tractor radar wired to the greenstar harness, but the speed on the GS2 is wrong. The 1790 is about an 06 model, and normally controlled by the brown box. I can calibrate the radar in the brown box and get it to work(less the swath control and paint), but the GS2 wont allow radar calibration. The speed on the GS2 shows lower than what it is, so the population is way high.

The dealer is stumped, and sent out a SF 300 globe to hook up for the speed. Is this the only way to make it work? More rain last night so I will have to wait to check if it works.

Thanks for the help!!
