I was moving some files around this morning on my network attached storage device. (D-Link storage device w/SATA HDD's/computer is XP) I was dragging files into a folder, and a bit later couldn't find the folder that I was dragging everything into. (I was also cutting & pasting, if I remember correctly).
After I realized it, I did a quick search (the search with the animated dog) and didn't find it. Where did it go? The files were originally in the storage device and I was dragging/pasting within the device. I 'searched' both the local HD and the NAS, but nothing. Are they gone? What is the best way to search the HDD/storage device?
