This seems to be the right forum for this. I will probably order a wired camera system in the next few days. It includes 4 Sony cameras (520 lines, adjustable focal length without taking the camera apart), an Internet capable 160 GB, 4 channel recorder, 7 inch quad-split screen monitor, and a UPS. The price seems right at $1695 delivered, ready to plug and play. I am told it will survive in an un-conditioned steel building (near Bakersfield CA) I expect temps in excess of 120 at times. Does anyone know if is true? Also, how does the Internet part of this thing work? I have a DSL capable phone line, not being used for Internet now in the shop. I assume another router is required? This is the place http://www.nvproducts.com/securitysys.htm I do have some positive experience with them. I think this is the same UPS, it is not on NV Products site http://www.apc.com/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=BR1500LCD&total_watts=200 Any comments or suggestions will be appreciated. |
